Dr. Oleynick was born and raised in Calgary. He completed combined Bachelor of Science degrees in Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology (CMMB) and Anthropology at the University of Calgary. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the same institution in 2018, followed by residency and fellowship training in General Internal Medicine. He pursued an additional fellowship in Perioperative Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton and holds further certification in diagnostic cardiac stress testing.
