We provide general internal medicine consultations for patients referred by their physicians. This page contains important information to help prepare for your consultation.
Your First Visit

First-time patients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake forms and paperwork.
Initial consultations: 45-60 minutes
Follow-up appointments: 15-30 minutes -
Please bring the following items to your appointment:
Healthcare Documentation
Current Alberta Health Card
Referral letter from your healthcare provider
Comprehensive medication list, including dosages, frequency, and prescribing physician
Complete allergy and adverse reaction history
Additional Requirements
Insurance cards for extended health benefits (if applicable)
Government-issued photo identification

Your initial consultation will include a comprehensive review of your medical history, discussion of your current symptoms, physical examination, medication review, and development of a personalized care plan. We will coordinate with your referring physician and/or family physician as needed and discuss recommended next steps.
Missed Appointment Policy
Please note that patients who do not attend a confirmed appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a missed appointment fee. This helps us respect the time of all patients and maintain access for those in need.
A fee may apply for missed or late-cancelled confirmed appointments.

Building Access:
We are located on the main floor of the Servus Credit Union building. For convenient access, please proceed to the rear of the parking lot and use the North Entrance. Upon entering the building, go through both sets of doors and our clinic will be on your right.
Accessibility:
Our facility is fully wheelchair accessible and features barrier-free washrooms. Designated handicapped parking spaces are available in our parking lot to ensure convenient access for all patients.
Transportation Options
Parking:
Parking is complimentary. For convenient access, please proceed to the rear of the parking lot and use the North Entrance.
Ride Services:
Set your drop-off location at Resolve Medicine clinic, located in the Servus Credit Union building. Please proceed to our office inside the building using the instructions above.
Public Transit:
Bus Routes: The nearest stops to our office are Sunridge Blvd & 29 St and Sunridge Blvd & 27 St if taking the 32 Bus.
LRT: The nearest LRT station is Rundle Station on the Blue Line. From there, you may take the 32 bus west to Huntington and exit at Sunridge Blvd & 29 St, then walk 100 meters to the Connect First Place building. Alternatively, walking directly from Rundle Station is 1.2 kilometers (approximately 16 minutes).
Frequently Asked Questions
Referrals and Appointments

Referrals must come from licensed healthcare providers including family physicians, nurse practitioners, emergency physicians, or other specialists. Patients cannot self-refer for internal medicine consultations.

Please call our office at least 24 hours in advance. We understand that medical situations can change, and we will work with you to find a suitable alternative time.

Missed appointments without 24-hour notice may result in a missed appointment fee and could delay your next available appointment. Repeated missed appointments may result in discharge back to your referring physician.
Test Results and Communication

You can access your Alberta lab results through MyHealth Records at myhealth.alberta.ca. You will need to register with a verified Alberta digital ID.

If your physician hasn't reviewed your test results with you, or if you don't expect to speak with your physician within 2 weeks of completing your tests, please call our office at +1 (825) 540-4070.
Medications and Prescriptions

We can renew medications that we have prescribed or that are directly related to conditions we are managing. For routine medications unrelated to your referral reason, please contact your family physician.

Yes, with your consent, we coordinate care with your family physician and other specialists involved in your care. All consultation reports and significant findings are sent to your referring physician.
