Dr. Patel grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta. He studied Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge, and subsequently, obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Calgary in 2020. He completed his residency and fellowship training in General Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary, where he also pursued additional elective training in Hepatology, focusing on metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). His areas of interest include management of chronic liver conditions and integration of Point of Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) into clinical practice.
