Dr. Wang grew up in Medicine Hat and studied biologic sciences at the Medicine Hat College before moving to Edmonton to complete his Doctor of Medicine (MD) as well as Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees at the University of Alberta. He completed 3 years of internal medicine residency in Edmonton before moving to Calgary to pursue a fellowship in General Internal Medicine, during which he also completed a subspecialty fellowship in point of care ultrasound (PoCUS). Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and listening to country music.
